This is the traditional architectural stained glass technique found in churches and historic buildings.
The course is divided into several 3-hour sessions. In most cases, four sessions are required to complete a first panel composed of around twenty glass pieces. This initial project follows a workshop-designed pattern, allowing participants to learn the fundamental techniques and develop the correct gestures.
After completing the introduction, participants are free to create their own leaded stained glass projects during the weekly workshop sessions.
The Tiffany technique is commonly used for decorative objects and allows for three-dimensional creations.
The introductory course consists of two 3-hour sessions (which may be completed on the same Saturday), during which participants create a small stained glass object composed of four to five glass pieces.
After completing the introduction, participants are free to develop their own Tiffany projects during the weekly workshop sessions.
There is no obligation to take the introductory sessions consecutively. However, it is recommended not to leave too much time between sessions when starting out, as regular practice will help you progress more quickly.
After completing the introductory courses, or if you already practice stained glass but are looking for a fully equipped workshop and/or guidance with your projects, you may join our weekly workshop sessions.
Throughout the year, themed workshops focusing on specific techniques will also be offered, including kiln forming, glass painting, and pâte de verre.
